Esha Deol refused to play ghost in Ram Gopal Verma's 'Darling'. Ramu roped in Madhavan and wanted her to play the ghost in the remake in Tamil version. Esha reveals, "I was spooked after playing a ghost. These things usually do not bother me but when you stay alone you get all those scary thoughts. I was also informed that the Tamil version was not being directed by Ramuji."
